WTMTSW Volume 1, Number 3

Easter, Passover, whatever... Acme Markets operates more than 200 stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. And like everywhere else, religious and secular holidays constantly strain the creativity and resources of those dedicated deli workers. So it was no surprise when we spotted this snappy little promo during April... "Happy Passover. Alpine Lace Ham, $ 0.00/lb."

WTMTSW... "What can Santa get you for July 4th little boy?"

Snooty roots. Spots of north Jersey have some pretty wealthy areas. Unfortunately, as hard as the residents of these areas may try, others of lesser means still live near their neighborhoods. So how does an upper crust individual stop an unwelcome guest from sharing the same shopping experience? Why, build a shopping center and label it so there will be no doubt: about who is and who isn't welcome. Call it: "Upscale Shopping Center."

WTMTSW... "Gold cards welcome. Platinum preferred."

From our non sequitur department... Militia groups are all the talk lately. Groups with members who feel a strong distrust for government and authority. So what's a perfect name for a group that disavows a hierarchal system? Why, "Unorganized Citizens Militia of Oklahoma," of course.

WTMTSW..."Optional attendance at meetings is mandatory. And that's unofficial!"

When naming your company, be careful. Be very careful. (Unlike these two southeastern Pennsylvania concerns).
"Funk Water"
"Alibi Guns & Ammo"

WTMTSW... "Hey, what do you want from use, all the good names were taken."

**********

The bestest hyperbole of the month honest mistake from an honest citizen. As seen on a product jar in a small Pennsylvania deli...
"Using only the best of nature's finest"

WTMTSW... "The pretty good finest stuff just isn't good enough."
